Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gleamry iOS app and the website at gleamry.app (the “Service”). By downloading or using Gleamry, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Gleamry is a local-first book tracker for iPhone. You can build a library on your device, arrange a bookshelf, log sessions, set goals, look up books online when you choose, and import a Goodreads CSV. We may change or discontinue features; we will try to give reasonable notice when a change materially affects something you already paid for.

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age required where you live). Gleamry does not use a Gleamry account; you are responsible for your device, your Apple ID, and how you use the app.

You own your library and reading data. It stays on your device unless you export or share it yourself. You are responsible for backups and for having the rights to content you add (including imported files and cover photos).

You agree not to misuse the Service — including unlawful use, abusing catalog APIs for bulk harvesting unrelated to a personal library, attempting unauthorized access, or using optional app-blocking features against someone else’s device without authority.

Online search may call Google Books, Open Library, or NeoDB from your device. Purchases go through Apple; entitlements may use RevenueCat. This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Those parties have their own terms. Goodreads is not affiliated with Gleamry.

Paid features are charged to your Apple ID at the price shown before purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID / App Store settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. For product issues, email khelil.fouado@gmail.com.

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost data. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of what you paid us for Gleamry in the twelve months before the claim or US $50, except where law forbids that limit.

You may stop using Gleamry anytime by deleting the app and canceling any subscription. We may suspend access for breach of these Terms or if we discontinue the product. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, except where law requires otherwise.
